How it works

  • Each scene is an ordinary moment: she walks in tired, the dentist isn’t booked, the match is on when she wants to talk.
  • Pick one of four responses before the timer runs out. Fast good answers earn more XP and combos.
  • The worst answer costs a heart. Lose three and she’s off to her sister’s for the weekend.
  • Score 15 of 30 points to pass a level and unlock the next. Aim for three stars.
  • Customise your avatars, collect badges, and see your blind spot with real-life actions to try tonight.

10 worlds, 50 levels, 500 scenes

World 1: Weeknights

When she's drained, she needs less effort from you, not more questions.

  • She walks in, drops her bag by the door and doesn't take her coat off.

    “I'm fine.”

Best move: Put the kettle on. Hand her a tea. Say nothing yet.

  • She's back from school pickup, Leo and Mia arguing behind her about whose turn it is on the tablet.

“Please tell me dinner is sorted.”

Best move: “Pizza's ordered. Arrives at quarter past.”

World 2: The Mental Load

Doing the task helps. Taking it off her mind completely helps more.

  • She's wiping the counter with one hand and scrolling the school calendar with the other.

“Did anyone book the dentist for Leo?”

Best move: Open the dentist's booking page. Book it now, right next to her.

  • Cereal on the table, shoes not on anyone. She's reading a note from Leo's school bag.

“Leo has costume day on Friday. As a vegetable.”

Best move: “I've got the costume. Carrot or broccoli?”

World 3: Her Stress

Most nights she wants company, not a solution.

  • She's sitting up in bed, reading work email on her phone, jaw clenched.

    “My boss is impossible.”

Best move: That sounds exhausting. What did he do?

  • The pasta is boiling and her laptop is open on the counter, slides everywhere.

“I present to the whole board tomorrow at nine.”

Best move: Take the spoon: “I've got dinner. You do the slides.”

World 4: Screens Down

You're in the room, but your attention is somewhere else.

  • The match is in the 78th minute. She sits at the other end of the sofa, knees up, not watching.

“We never just sit together anymore.”

Best move: Pause it. “Phones in the drawer? Come here.”

  • She leans on the counter with a glass of water. You're typing a long reply to the group chat about Sunday's five-a-side.

“I've been thinking about changing jobs.”

Best move: Put the phone face-down on the counter. “Tell me more.”

World 5: Fights & Repair

Explaining yourself first sounds like defending yourself.

  • The morning after you snapped at her about the car keys. She's pouring cereal for Mia.

“Coffee's there if you want it.”

Best move: I was short with you last night. I'm sorry.

  • She opens the dishwasher and finds your frying pan blocking the spray arm. Again.

“This is the fifth time we've had this conversation.”

Best move: Fair. I'll reload it now. Pans go by hand from now on.

World 6: Make Her Feel Seen

She notices what you notice, and what you let slide.

  • She drops onto the sofa, dusty jeans, hair tied up, looking quietly pleased with herself.

    “Did you notice anything today?”

Best move: The garage! It looks brilliant. How long did that take?

  • She comes in, takes off her scarf slowly and turns her head a little too casually.

    “So? Anything?”

Best move: Your hair! Shorter at the front. It really suits you.

World 7: In-Laws & Friends

In public, she needs a teammate. Your family is yours to handle.

  • Lunch at her mother's. Her mom has just said the lasagne is “a bit dry, but fine” for the second time.

    “Anyone want more salad?”

Best move: “This is really good. She made it from scratch.”

  • Driving to Marco's birthday party. She's doing her lipstick in the visor mirror.

“Can we leave by eleven? I've got an early start tomorrow.”

Best move: “Eleven. I'll be the one who says it's time.”

World 8: Team Parenting

You're a parent, not her assistant. Take whole jobs, including the boring ones.

  • She's packing two lunchboxes, signing a school form and hunting for Mia's left shoe, all at once.

    “Can you do something? Anything?”

Best move: Find the shoe, then take over the lunchboxes without asking how.

  • Leo, in pyjamas, is standing on his bed. She's been trying to get him down for twenty minutes.

“Dad lets me stay up till ten!”

Best move: Nice try, champ. Mum's rule is my rule. Lights out.

World 9: Money & Big Decisions

Her plans count as much as your spreadsheet. Decide together.

  • She opens her laptop next to the croissants and turns the screen towards you. It's a spreadsheet. It has colours.

“I made us a family budget. Five minutes. Look at it with me?”

Best move: Pull your chair next to hers. “Show me. Start with the colours.”

  • She's folding Mia's pyjamas on the little bed, slower than usual, not looking at you.

“I've been thinking about doing a master's. Is that crazy?”

Best move: Not crazy. Which one? Tell me everything.

World 10: Keep the Spark

Small, steady effort beats one big gesture a year.

  • First date night in two months. She's reading the menu. Your phone buzzes on the table.

“Just us. Nobody needs a snack for two whole hours.”

Best move: Phone in your jacket. “Two hours. Tell me everything.”

  • Kids asleep. She's drying plates when her favourite song from her twenties comes on the radio.

“Oh! I haven't heard this in years.”

Best move: Take the tea towel off her. Offer your hand. Dance badly.
